Some results of use of systems of seismic monitoring of production of Elgeo LLP

The systems of seismic monitoring of production of Elgeo LLP are applied since 1997. Systems are used for control of a condition of underground excavations and land space for the purpose of the forecast of collapses in mines. It is necessary to carry a possibility of control of the extensive areas occupied by mines the customer in the mode which is brought closer to the mode of real time including those sites of underground excavations to which there is no access or it is complicated owing to big danger to undoubted advantages of a method of seismic monitoring.

From 1997 to 2007 about 5700 seismic events are registered. The card of distribution of seismic events across the territory of the field is given in fig. 1.

By means of the systems of seismic monitoring made by Elgeo LLP, the customer solves the following problems:

• system approach to a solution of the problem of observation, assessment and the forecast of a condition of the developed space with application of a complex of various monitors is carried out;
• monitoring maintenance of mining for the purpose of prediction, prevention and prevention of technogenic catastrophes is provided.
